Looks unobtrusive against the wall. The unit is quite big where it fits into the back box, so I had to rearrange the wires a bit. It does come with a spacer so if you can't rearrange to make it all fit, you can let the outlet stick out from the wall a bit more instead. It's a good thing to include, but it would be a bit more ugly if you had to use it.
The outlet seems well made, good quality, as it should be for something which is wired to mains. It was easy to install, just a standard outlet change with only a bit more messing around due to the lack of space in the back box as mentioned.
Fully compatible with matter over thread, currently sitting at thread version1.3. This device provided a nearby routing node and fixed the issues I was seeing with the weak radios in the light bulb from a well known brand....
The value for money is good I suppose. It was expensive for an outlet, but it provides a (high current!) USB sockets, smart plugs with power monitoring, and a thread router all in a box in the wall that is very neat - no extra ugly little box plugged in somewhere to provide that functionality. Money well spent, and I would buy again to provide the same functionality.
